由常与罗根合作的摄影师Brandon Trost执导，改编自刊登于2013年《纽约客》的中篇小说《Sell Out》，原作者Simon Rich写剧本。罗根一人分饰两角，之一是1920年代移民到美国的劳工Herschel Greenbaum，他不慎跌进了一缸泡菜，被腌了一百年，保持了完美的形态。百年后的如今，Greenbaum在纽约布鲁克林醒来，身体没有丝毫苍老。他去寻找自己现在的家人，却发现只有曾孙Ben Greenbaum(也是罗根出演)尚存。Ben是个性格温和的程序猿，Herschel完全无法理解他。。地表上有着形形色色的动物，它们的外型与生态究竟是怎们来的呢？ 其实，天上有个负责设计生物的部门叫做「设计部」，他们煞费苦心发挥创意，就为了完成客户（神）提出的种种匪夷所思的难题。 「为什么独角兽实际上不存在？」「好吃的生物具备什么条件？」「海中最强的动物是谁？」大自然的种种奥妙，全部来自「天地创造设计部」！。Two paranormal investigators are unexpectedly thrown together in the hope of solving a 100 year mystery.
