节目每期围绕一个主题，选择2位核心人物故事，1位是建党初期的革命英雄，如瞿秋白、李大钊、江竹筠、白求恩、钱学森等，1位是新时代奋斗者，如瞿独伊、李宏塔、张桂梅、辛育龄、孙家栋等，由明星嘉宾以舞台剧形式演绎双人物故事，打破时空界限，上演跨时代人物对话，弘扬时代精神。。描写韩国泡菜的电视剧《不朽的名作》先前曾被安排为水木剧（周三周四播出的剧集），但是因为该剧是以大家族为背景展开的有关爱的故事，所以在经过周详考虑后，被安排成周末剧（周六周日播出的剧集）播出，以便让更多的观众以家庭为单位收看到。。A golf course in financial trouble is the scene of a string of caddy murders at the paws of pesticide-mutated gofers, while the greedy owner of the facility tries to cover up the carnage and an unhinged groundkeeper wages all-out war on the vicious vermin…。
