影片剧本仍由帕劳洛与老搭档奥兰多·提拉多共同撰写，讲述一位变性女性(莱赛特饰)回到美国中西部，去照顾她垂死的母亲(克拉克森饰)。这个有关破碎家庭的故事，将对遗弃、老龄化、承诺和救赎等主题展开讨论。影片预计于今年底开机。。Follows the boundary-pushing Rubinstein as she selects Ravel to compose the music for her next ballet and requests something bold and sensual. Ravel finds himself incapable of writing anything, but in the process of reliving his memories, facing his old loves and failures, the composer ends up creating his greatest success ever: Boléro。剧情主要描写日本占据台湾时期，自小被卖身到别家作养女的秋莲和青年顺兴相恋，但少女自卖身为养女的那一刻，即已丧失了人权和地位，在这种不合人性的封建桎梏下，他们的命运只能走向悲剧结局。。
