《新三峡》将以时空的变化为内在逻辑，从“坝”、“水”、“山”、“人”、 “景”、“城”、“梦”7个方面进行谋篇设计。纪录片将以水上、水下、陆地、 空中四维立体拍摄相结合，全方位展示新三峡的新风貌、新景观、新发展。3D纪录电影将通过三维技术展现三峡库区10年、20年、50年、100年后的未来前景。。苏兹（Kerry Fox 饰）、泰特（Sally Stockwell 饰）等一伙极富冒险精神的年轻人决定驾船从新西兰前往斐济，享受他们惊险刺激的假期之旅。当船行驶在南太平洋中央时，海上突起大雾，所有通讯全部中断。正当他们焦急之时，一艘破旧的小渔船由远及近出现在他们面前。船上有一个奄奄一息的希腊人（John Rhys-Davies 饰），他自称知晓欺骗死神的方法，迄今为止已活了数个世纪。而如今大限临近，地狱三途河的摆渡人正摇橹前来，欲将其带往另一个世界。 年轻人虽然对他的说辞不甚相信，但从希腊人上船那一刻起，诡异之事便接连发生……。In 2016 filmmaker/photographer Pete McBride and writer Kevin Fedarko set out on a 750-mile journey on foot through the entire length of the Grand Canyon.
