本片改编自古龙原著小说《边城浪子》，为1977年十大卖座武侠片。故事讲述「天下第一快刀」傅红雪为报父仇，万里寻凶，期间七名凶手竟一一离奇暴毙。傅与好友叶开多番调查，发现七名凶手全部未死；他们合力在幕後操纵，让傅堕入圈套，始出面联手对付，傅之处境岌岌可危……。经过了一番波折，谢炎（孟瑞 饰）和舒念（王博文 饰）总算化解了误会，重修旧好，然而，谢炎很明确的感受到，舒念对自己的态度改变了，曾经的亲密无间再也不在，取而代之的是遮遮掩掩的欲言又止。一次偶然之中，舒念和名为柯洛（周骏超 饰）的男子相遇了，和舒念一样，柯洛也是在孤儿院长大的，相似的经历很快拉近了两人之间的距离。 然而，在舒念的心里，他只将柯洛当成是一个需要心疼和照顾的小弟弟，但柯洛想向舒念索取的，却是比这要多得多。终于，柯洛向舒念表白了，惊惶无措的舒念再度选择了逃避。与此同时，对现状忍无可忍的谢炎找到了舒念，坦白了自己的感情。。A documentary potted history of WW2, the novelty here is that most of the film has been "colorized". The maker does not like to use this word and prefers to say "restored" but to all intents and purposes it is seeing the war in colour that makes it more gory and emotional.
