2001年的新学季，北山中学迎来了一批新生，高一二班的女生苗加一和赵小红酷爱少女漫画，同班的钱乐乐调皮捣蛋、喜爱音乐，三班的徐鸣一是大家眼中的学霸，范橙因为家庭原因内心冷漠，靠偶尔代写作业挣一点零花钱。雷磊是徐鸣一和范橙的同班同学，寄养于姨妈家，成为苗加一的邻居。六个高中生因“演唱会事件”结缘，他们在这过程中相互帮助，一起面对身边的变故。高考结束，大家都考上了心仪的大学。。“From Far Away” is a documentary dealing with a journey through Turkey.
