火车站月台，一时疏忽的李化（李力 饰）怎么也想不到刚出差回来，就把装有秘密图纸的公文包丢失了，公安局丁局长（邢吉田 饰）闻听后，通知在医院养病的侦察员石云（田华 饰）出院领受任务。石云即刻着手调查，走访过程中，老中医古仲儒（刘季云 饰）纳入了侦察视线。石云的丈夫陈亮（王心刚 饰）是军区保卫干事，在上级的安排下，他主动结识了演奏家方莉（师伟 饰）。石云通过各方调查，发现厨师叶长谦（李壬林 饰）有重大嫌疑，被捕后的叶长谦百般抵赖，还想毁掉图纸，被石云当场识破。经分析发现古仲儒就是幕后操纵者，方莉就是他的同谋，在方莉谎称姐姐生病要前去深圳，中途要接个老中医为其看病时，收网的时机到了......。When he learns his days are numbered old count Hervé de Kéraudren decides to hide in a secret alcove and to die there, just to annoy his heirs.
