The new season will include new original musical numbers from co-creator and executive producer Cinco Paul, as well as returning stars Cecily Strong, Keegan-Michael Key, Ariana DeB...。早川直吉家族在东京郊区的新开市开设了一家名为“早川”的鳗鱼串烧店。大女儿菊子嫁给了当地一家电力公司的工薪族中原勇，长子繁吉和二女儿久美子给这家店帮忙。菊子夫妇因调职来到东京。在苦苦寻找出租房后，与失去妻子的丈夫同事竹村住在一起。。以杂志编辑部为舞台，讲述四十岁出头的编辑长相乐（大东骏介饰），因过于追求自我而被同事疏远，唯一陪伴他的只有爱犬柴犬。走投无路之际，他突发奇想创办“柴犬专门杂志”。然而聚集而来的却是一群怪咖——包括怕狗的编辑石森（饭丰万理江饰）。在混乱中，狗狗以温柔目光化解隔阂，人与人、人与犬之间也渐渐建立起羁绊，是一部描绘令和时代人际关系与治愈之力的温暖群像剧。。
